The study of history is an incubator for developing skills in critical thinking and leadership. Attempting to inhabit the thoughts and the passions of those who came before us helps us to better understand our present, to empathise with those who think differently from us, and to make informed decisions for the future. Sheridan’s History major is principally centred on the Indo-Pacific region and focuses on comparative religion, trade, conflict, and the movement of people groups.

Sheridan's History major may be taken on either a full-time or part-time basis and is open to both domestic and international students.
